This acceptable use policy sets out what you may and may not do when using the alana platform. It applies to everyone who accesses the platform and complements our terms of service.
2. prohibited content and activity
You may not use alana to upload, distribute, or process content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, is deceptive or fraudulent, or misrepresents products in a way intended to deceive shoppers or ai assistants. You may not use the platform to distribute malware or to violate applicable laws.
3. platform integrity
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other customers’ data, probe or bypass security controls, disrupt or overload the service, scrape or extract data beyond your own account, or reverse engineer the platform except where permitted by law.
4. fair use of ai and distribution
You are responsible for the catalog data you connect and publish. You may not use alana to misrepresent inventory, pricing, or availability, or to manipulate ai assistants and agents in ways that deceive end users. You must have the rights to the product data and media you process.
5. enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access to protect the platform, our customers, and end users. Where appropriate we will give notice, but we may act immediately for serious or ongoing abuse.
